The half-ironman is in the books, I competed on Sunday July 25th in Bozeman and placed 10th on a beautiful course in front of some friends and family. It was a truly great experience, but I can't lie, I am glad it's over. So this week I have been very lazy, enjoying some down time, good food, and of course good beer.
So as you may have read, the project officially begins Friday at 4 PM with my brother and I heading to Helena to visit Blackfoot River and Sleeping Giant. We're hopeful that our Mom will stay in Helena and join us, and maybe even cook some breakfast Saturday morning. Saturday we will head to Missoula (via Butte). The agenda includes a visit to Quarry Brewing, and then Bayern and Kettlehouse. Finally on Sunday we will hit up Big Sky Brewing to wrap up the weekend.
The itinerary is set, the scoring system is set, and we are set. Get ready to indulge in the greatest review of tap rooms across our great state!
